Poor diet and an unhealthy lifestyle can increase the risk of diseases whereas proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can improve one’s overall development. The findings of this research can help individuals, families, communities, and the government in implementing good nutritional eating behaviors among the public as we look towards the improvement of people’s health and well-being.

Making wise food choices begins with an understanding of food and diet. Food is one of the most basic needs of man to survive and maintain optimal health through his lifetime. Our body needs food to maintain, nourish, and develop its functions. But the kind of food that we eat affects the efficiency of our bodily functions. This means that we cannot just eat whatever we want, whatever is edible, or whenever we want to eat. There has to be a balanced healthy diet for the body to run smoothly. So, watch your diet because you are what you eat.
